Josh Childs is a Graphic Designer and Photographer living in Chicago, Illinois. While still in high school, Josh
began doing pro bono design work for local non-profit organizations before moving on to study Graphic Design
at McMurry Universityand then TCU in Fort Worth, TX, where he earned a BFA in the same discipline. He has
been priviliged to work with a variety of clients, from doctors to jewelry designers. His work has been
featured in the Art Director's Club of Houston Student Show since 2007.

Lord of the Rings Lettering
Hand-lettered titling for a redesigned Lord of the Rings book trilogy. After discovering that nearly all of the current
work done on this story relied upon imagery for book covers, I decided to explore the story
solely with Lettering and Typography.
